Luna Glasses pre-order terms and conditions
1. Scope and Applicability
These Terms and Conditions apply to all online purchases, including pre-orders, of devices sold via www.lunaglasses.nl to consumers . By placing an order, you agree to be legally bound by these terms.
2. Product Description and Intended Use
The device offered is classified as Class I medical devices under Regulation (EU) 2017/745 (MDR) and is designed to assist people with visual impairments. The product is CE-marked and conforms to all applicable safety and performance requirements in Europe.
3. Pre-Order and Down Payment
You may pre-order the product by paying a down payment.
The full consumer price of the product is €4995, excluding VAT.
The remaining balance will be due before shipment.
Estimated delivery scheduled for early October. Delays will be communicated promptly.
4. Cooling-Off Period and Right of Withdrawal
As a consumer, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the product, without giving any reason.
To exercise this right, email info@lunaglasses.nl with your order number.
If the product has already shipped, it must be returned unused and undamaged.
Refunds (including the down payment) will be issued within 14 days of receiving the returned product.
5. Refund and Cancellation Policy
You may cancel your pre-order at any time before shipment.
Full refund of the down payment will be issued if cancellation is made before production/shipping begins.
In the event we cancel your order (e.g., due to supply issues), a full refund will be issued.
6. Delivery
Delivery shall be made within 30 days of product release, unless otherwise specified at the time of release.
Risk of loss or damage transfers to you upon delivery.
7. Warranty
The product is covered by at least a 1-year legal warranty or any other length of time as specified by local law.
Warranty covers manufacturing defects and non-conformity but excludes misuse or unauthorized alterations.
To claim warranty, contact info@lunaglasses.nl with proof of purchase and photos of the issue.
8. Medical Device Obligations
This product is not a substitute for professional medical advice or regular eye care.
Users are advised to consult with a healthcare professional before use.
Any adverse events or issues must be reported to Luna Glasses and relevant authorities as per MDR.
9. Limitation of Liability
Luna shall not be liable for indirect damages, loss of data, or missed appointments resulting from the use or failure of the product, except in cases of gross negligence or intent.
10. Data Protection
Your personal data is processed in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

13. User study
When purchasing the Luna Glasses user study pre-order, you agree to participate in a user study lasting for a total of three (3) months. The user study will entail interviews, follow-up questionnaires and other methods deemed useful for the further development of Luna Glasses.
